2013 is approaching and it's time to make some changes
I have a new job that I just love and don't have time to write any more investigative opinions. I'll miss trying to find a way to hold elected officials accountable for their decisions as well as letting Volusia residents know exactly what is going on with the Volusia County Council.
Slogging my way through reams of material to back up what I found was extremely labor intensive. Although I was unable to make substantive changes in the transparency of the Council's decisions, I did manage to bring several issues into the light of day. And Volusia Voters were smart enough to dump the entrenched bureaucrats and elect a newcomer, Jason Davis, as our County Chair. Thankfully we have term limits in our County and Davis worked doubly hard to walk the County and introduce himself to thousands of voters who could clearly see the difference between the energetic newcomer and the former Chair. Doug Daniels will take the place of another long-time Council member.
Christmas is a beautiful time of the year as we welcome our Savior into the world His Father created. I wish all my faithful readers a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year. Your encouragement is priceless.
